Delivered in partnership

In a global first, Ufi VocTech Trust and The RSA launched the Digital Badging Commission to broaden the understanding, development and adoption of digital badges by accrediting organisations and employers.

Our aim was to build a new consensus around the development and deployment of digital badges to recognise and reward learning and skills development, transforming the discussion about how we recognise and reward lifelong learning in the UK.

Next steps

Our report was published in November 2025, marking a major milestone in the case for reforming how skills and learning are recognised in the UK.

Building on this work, the RSA and Ufi VocTech Trust are now shaping the next phase to help transform lifelong learning and qualifications in the UK.
